Berndt Petersen comes to Channel 2 Action News from our sister station, WFTV, in Orlando, Fla. Berndt's background includes reporting positions in Birmingham, Charleston and Paducah. Along the way, he's received two dozen honors from the Associated Press, three Edward R. Murrow awards and six Emmy awards. In his spare time, Berndt likes to play golf with his dad and is also a big fan of his hometown Chicago Cubs. "We'll make it back to the World Series one day. Just wait until next year!" Berndt says.
