ATLANTA — After searching several homes around metro Atlanta, the FBI says they, along with local agencies, found more than $5 million in drugs.
Houston County and Perry Police Department searched nine homes around the metro Atlanta area and recovered a large number of illegal drugs and cash.
So far, 21 people have been arrested, but the FBI says more could be charged.

Agents say those involved were funneling the drugs into Houston County, which is just south of Macon, and beyond.
Investigators say they found:
- 76.8 pounds of marijuana
- 9.7 pounds of methamphetamine
- 13.4 pounds of powder cocaine
- 4.32 pounds of ecstasy, believed to be laced with fentanyl
- 15.45 pounds of THC edibles
- Over $200,000 in cash
None of those arrested have been identified.
It’s unclear where the raided homes were located.
