Police said Tulsi Patel sexually and physically assaulted 12 preschoolers while working there.
A spokesman with the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning told Channel 2′s Candace McCowan that the application was denied, but the daycare is still operating.
It’s not clear when they will be required to close their doors.
The owners of the Webb Bridge Kids ‘R’ Kids daycare were set to appear before a state administrative judge to appeal the decision to revoke their license because of the allegations against Patel.

The parents who were ready to testify this week will still likely testify in criminal and civil cases against Patel and Kids ‘R’ Kids. While Bey tells Channel 2′s Candace McCowan the parents are thankful that location is closing, they want more.
“Really what they’re looking for is systemic change. A culture where the videos are reviewed, a culture where teachers value the responses from the children and what has happened to them and there’s more communication,” added Bey.
Channel 2 Action News reached out to a representative for Kids ‘R’ Kids on Webb Bridge and was told there was no update.
