ATLANTA — The city of Atlanta is shutting down Peachtree Street NW in downtown, outside a popular hotel.
Channel 2 Action News has learned that some of the brick on the side of the Residence Inn by Marriott is deteriorating, and now crews have to come in and patch those areas of brick.
The closure is from John Wesley Dobbs NE to Williams Street NW.
Atlanta DOT said they were working “to preserve public safety and accommodate exterior inspection and restoration activities at 134 Peachtree Street NW.”
