ATLANTA — The football game between Georgia Tech and Temple has been delayed due to lightning in the area of Bobby Dodd Stadium.
The game was scheduled to have a 4:30 p.m. kickoff, but was delayed for about 30 minutes.
Fans inside the stadium were instructed to leave the seating bowl and shelter in place in a covered area.
Georgia Tech Athletics posted on X that barring a recurrence of lightning in the vicinity, the new kickoff time will be 5:05 p.m.
