Police say a man who barricaded himself inside an southwest Atlanta home is dead following a SWAT standoff.
Officers confirmed to Channel 2’s Bryan Mims that a man barricaded himself and a family inside a home on Burbank Drive SW.

When SWAT teams arrived, police said some family members got of the home, but an 8-year-old was still inside. The child is now out of the home and safe.
Police have not said how the man died.
