Mayor Andre Dickens called on people to speak up about what happened.

“We know that there were enough people out there that could have given us some indication of what happened,” he said at the news conference. “And so investigators are out. That’s why you only see the leadership of APD, because everybody else is out working right now.”

Investigators recovered multiple guns and nearly three dozen rounds from the scene.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Edgewood Avenue around 1:27 a.m. Monday. Police said officers arrived less than a minute later since it’s an area where they usually patrol.

Officers said they found one person, a 27-year-old man, on the ground who died from his injuries.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner identified him as Santos J. Wyatt.

APD confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that 10 other people were shot and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. APD said one person, an 18-year-old, is in critical condition, but all others appear to be stable.

The victims are between the ages of 18 and 29.
