ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a shooting where a teenager was killed on Tuesday evening.
Officers were called to Turman Ave. SE off Lakewood Ave. just after 5 p.m. to reports of shots fired.

Investigators found a 15-year-old who had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene. His identity has not been released.
Police say there was a robbery call nearby at the exact same time.
The robbery victim told police that he acted in self-defense and shot the teen.
Police say that man is in custody and is being questioned, but has not been charged.
