DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Two people were shot and a third person was injured Saturday night at Chapel Hill Park on Lehigh Boulevard in DeKalb County.
DeKalb County Police told Channel 2’s Eryn Rogers that the shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. Neighbors told Rogers that they believe the shooting may have happened at a function or event planned for the park.

Police said that a 19-year-old woman was transported to the hospital in critical condition. They also said a second person showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound and a third person came in with injuries caused by glass.
The person injured by the glass was treated and released.

Police investigators are still trying to figure out what started the shooting incident, who did it, why they did it and where they are.
They ask anyone with information to call police or to text “DKPD” to 847411, followed by the tip.
