STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — DeKalb Fire Rescue crews extinguished a house fire in Stone Mountain, Capt. Jaeson Daniels tells Channel 2 Action News.
Just before 2 a.m., Daniels said DKFR responded to a residential house fire at 7209 Glen Cove Lane.

When they arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the “rear of the structure,” he said.
The amount of fire was so heavy, Daniels said their initial attack was done from the outside of the house.

Once the fire was under control, DKFR entered the house where they were able to battle the blaze from the inside.
There are no injuries to reportand the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Daniels.
