DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Animal Shelter says nearly two dozen dogs who were at-risk of being euthanized are safe.
The shelter said it is out of space and there were 19 dogs that need homes by 7 p.m. Thursday. They stayed open for an extra hour and, luckily, were able to get all of them into a fur-ever home.

“Fostering or adopting is the best way to help, but if you can’t bring a dog home right now, please share this message to help them find one,” the shelter posted.
