EAST POINT, Ga. — The City of East Point announced there was a massive water outage due to an emergency water main repair.
According to officials, the water main break happened while work crews were repairing a fire hydrant. East Point Water Resources Department staff are on site now.

The city said they are working hard to restore services to the area, on Pegg Road and Parkside Terrace, as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, water is available to impacted residents at the intersection of Peg Road and Sylvan Road.
