ATLANTA — Someone had quite the desire for a cinnamon roll, and they broke into Perimeter Mall to get one.

Their attempt at getting the warm, sugary Cinnabon was thwarted by the Dunwoody Police Department.

In a Facebook post, the department acknowledged how tempting the cinnamon roll can be but said it is not worth breaking into the mall for.

“We get it. Cinnabons can be tempting. But breaking into Perimeter Mall for a midnight snack and stealing Cinnabons is just not smart, not in Dunwoody!” the department wrote.

Because of their cravings, someone is headed to jail.

“Now, instead of enjoying a warm, gooey cinnamon roll, you’re facing a felony burglary charge,” police said. “Next time, think about the long-term consequences before you give in to those late-night cravings. The county jail might have food, but trust us, it’s no Cinnabon!”
