WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. — One man was arrested and another was hospitalized after deputies said an argument led to an assault.

Washington County deputies and first responders were called to the 4000 block of Highway 102 regarding a pedestrian possibly hit by a vehicle.
After further investigation, officials said the accident occurred after a fight between two co-workers traveling on the highway together.

Deputies said two men began arguing and fighting which led to one of the men being run over by the vehicle.
The victim was airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center for medical treatment. His age, identity and current condition have not been released.
Investigators arrested 37-year-old Larry Brooks, of Tennille, Ga.
Brooks is charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, battery and reckless driving.
