ATLANTA — The 2025 SEC Championship Game is set: No. 4 Georgia will get a rematch with No. 10 Alabama in Atlanta.
The Bulldogs earned a spot in the game after Texas defeated Texas A&M on Friday night. Alabama punched its ticket to Atlanta with a close win over rival Auburn on Saturday night.
The SEC Championship Game will kick off Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. live on Channel 2.

It feels destined at this point for Georgia and Alabama to keep meeting in the SEC Championship Game. This will be the fifth conference title game between the programs. Alabama has won the previous four.

The winner of the SEC Championship Game earns an automatic bid in the College Football Playoff. But even if Georgia loses, the Bulldogs’ 11-1 regular season record with a tough conference schedule should still be enough to get them into the playoff.
