GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a domestic-related homicide in unincorporated Stone Mountain.
According to Officer Juan A. Reyes with the Gwinnett County Police Department, a woman and a man died on the 300 block of Stone Hill Drive.
Police say officers arrived at the home at around 4 p.m. after receiving a 911 call from someone related to one of the people who were shot.
Reyes said both people died from at least one gunshot wound and that one of those appeared to be self-inflicted. Police believe the man shot the woman and then shot himself.
Reyes said the woman lived at the home, and the man and woman had a long history together.
Police are waiting until the next of kin has been notified before they release the identities of the victim and the suspect.
