GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police arrested and charged a Stockbridge man with killing his stepson on Tuesday night.
Johnny Mays Blackshear Jr., 54, was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail early Wednesday morning. He’s charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and gun possession in the death of his stepson, 26-year-old Jordan Calloway.
Officers were called to a hotel on Venture Parkway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday where they found Calloway suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police have not commented on what led up to the shooting.

Calloway was rushed to the hospital but died in the ambulance on the way there.
Blackshear was arrested after being pulled over by deputies in Walton County.
He was then taken to the Gwinnett County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond.
