Deputies searching for suspects accused of using hatchet during robbery in Hall County

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Investigators in Hall County are asking for the public’s help in identifying three suspects accused of robbing two men last year.

Hall County deputies said on Dec. 20 at 5:30 p.m. they received a call about an alleged shooting outside of Don Mangum Grocery store on Harmony Church Road.

According to authorities, the victims were set to meet the suspects in the parking lot for a pre-arranged sale of two phones.

Deputies said the suspects hopped out of a red Honda Accord and robbed the two victims, who were still in their vehicles.

One of the suspects had a shotgun and another one with a hatchet, deputies said.

The HCSO said the suspect with the shotgun fired it toward the road during the robbery. The suspect with the hatchet swung it at one of the victims, causing a small cut to the victim’s hand, according to authorities.

Hall County officials said the three suspects ran back to their car and drove away. No other injuries were reported.
