HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A woman and man are dead after a domestic violence incident in a Henry County neighborhood.
Police responded to a person shot call at Onyx Drive and Ruby Lane around 11:45 p.m. Sunday. Officers found a woman dead at the location.

Police identified a person of interest and tracked him to another home on Ruby Lane. Officers and SWAT teams then surrounded the home and tried to get the man to come out.
Police eventually got a search warrant to enter the house. When they went inside, the man was dead.
The investigation blocked off the entrance to the Brightwood subdivision for several hours. Officials said there is no threat to the public and the neighborhood is back open.
Neighbors told Channel 2’s Darryn Moore officers have responded to the home several times in the past regarding domestic violence calls.
Investigators have not identified the victim or the person of interest or what the relationship between the two was.
