ROSWELL, Ga. — Roswell police say an armed juvenile was arrested after barricading themself inside an apartment.
Police were dispatched to Tree Ridge Parkway at about 3:45 p.m. for a drug-related domestic incident.
When they arrived, they found a juvenile armed with a handgun.
Police say the child ran into the apartment and barricaded the door.
Other family members were safely escorted out of the apartment.
After several hours of communicating with the suspect, the juvenile surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody.
The suspect is charged with obstruction of law enforcement and gun-related charges.
