PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Fire officials are working to get answers after a house exploded Saturday night.

On Saturday night, Paulding County fire crews were called to a neighborhood in the area of Paces Meadows Lane after receiving several reports of a home explosion.
When they arrived, a home was engulfed in flames with severe damage. Firefighters were able to contain and extinguish the flames at the unoccupied home.
Fortunately, there were no injuries.

While it is suspected to be a gas leak, investigators are working to confirm an official cause of the explosion.
“Remember, if you suspect a gas leak of any kind, immediately evacuate the area. Once evacuated, call 911,” Paulding County Fire and Rescue said.
