According to the school’s website, someone reported a person carrying a weapon in the Magnolia Courtyard area and they were last spotted moving off campus.

School officials said, out of an abundance of caution, all students, faculty and staff were asked to remain indoors and stay alert.

Around 1:40 pm., an all clear was given. Authorities said an individual, who was not a GSW student, was arrested off campus by police.

“We are grateful to report that no injuries have been reported. We extend our sincere thanks to GSW Public Safety and all partnering local and state law enforcement agencies for their swift and coordinated response in ensuring the safety of our campus community,” the school said.
