ATLANTA — Police shut down Interstate 20 westbound for hours to investigate a deadly crash in southwest Atlanta.
The crash happened around 3:20 a.m. at the Lee Street exit.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Lawrence Perrino, 35, died in the crash.

Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach reported from the scene and spotted crews removing at least four vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.
Police said the initial crash happened between a Ford Focus and a Ford Ranger.
That crash caused a tractor-trailer to slow to a stop when a driver, identified as Perrino, collided in his Ford Expedition. He died at the scene.
All lanes reopened after 7 a.m.
