No. 5 Georgia falls to No. 17 Alabama, snaps home winning streak

No. 5 Georgia suffered its first loss of the season to No. 17 Alabama, 24-21, on Saturday night in Athens.

The Bulldogs defense held the Tide to zero points in the second half, but the offense’s struggles on third and fourth down haunted them. The loss also snapped a 33-home game winning streak for Georgia.

The Bulldogs are now 3-1 this season and will host Kentucky at home next weekend. The game will kick off at 12 p.m. on Channel 2.
