4:15 - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cherokee, Forsyth, and Fulton County until 4:45 p.m.
4:01 - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Forsyth and Hall County until 4:30 p.m.
3:45 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cherokee, Dawson, Forsyth, Lumpkin and Pickens County until 4:15pm.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Dawson, Forsyth, Hall and Lumpkin counties until 3:45 p.m.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued in Rabun County until 1:15 p.m.
A line of strong to severe storms prompted several warnings Wednesday night and into Thursday. Isolated severe storms are possible again tonight with heavy rain, frequent lightning, damaging wind gusts, and hail all possible.
After the hottest day of the year so far yesterday, the dangerous heat has come to an end over most of north Georgia. In far northwest Georgia, though, a heat advisory remains in effect until 8pm.
There is also a code orange air quality alert today across metro Atlanta.
